Creative Europe in Ukraine and CIAU organize webinars on effective communications for CCI projects
Incredible projects in the fields of cultural and creative industries are formed in Ukraine every year. For example, the EU’s Creative Europe program alone supported 11,325 projects during 2014-2020, 38 of which were with the participation of Ukrainian organizations. With the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation in 2019, 432 projects were supported. And this is not all the initiatives that are implemented in every corner of Ukraine. Almost every Ukrainian has heard about some projects, and some significant projects remain unknown. Obviously, the issue of promotion and communication of cultural and creative projects remains open and relevant.
In order for cultural managers to raise their awareness of effective communication, the National Bureau of the EU’s Creative Europe Program in Ukraine together with the Association of Creative Industries of Ukraine is organizing a series of webinars by Ukrainian communication specialists. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of how to properly communicate with the audience of their project, as well as be able to ask questions and communicate with keynote representatives of the industry.
The program includes 5 webinars that will take place during April-May:
08.04 “Definition of communication channels and work with them”
Speaker: Anna Burdina, Communications Manager, Manager of the American Independence Film Festival in Ukraine, organizer of the Ukrainian Film Days in Helsinki (Finland). She previously worked with the Odessa International Film Festival, the Molodist International Film Festival, and the GOGOLFEST International Festival of Contemporary Art. Anna will talk about the correct definition of communication goals, the choice of communication channels, planning communication campaigns.
15.04 “Building a brand”
Speaker: Olena Taranenko, brand strategist, partner of the Shadow branding agency, which develops brand strategies for companies representing small and medium-sized businesses. Olena will talk about how the brand can talk to people so that they can be heard, understood, accepted and loved.
22.04 “Content strategy in SMM”
Speaker: Zoya Lobod, co-owner of the digital agency LOBODS, digital consultant with over 6 years of experience. Let’s talk about a comprehensive SMM strategy and digital content strategy.
29.04 “Visual communications”
Speaker: Yaroslav Belinsky, expert in visual communications and branding, graphic designer, founder and chairman of the Design4Ukraine Association. Yaroslav will reveal the issue of visual communications.
06.05 “Media partnerships and intersectoral interactions”
Karina Borzakivska, Communications and Partnership Manager of the Association of Creative Industries of Ukraine (CIAU) and the official representative of the Cannes Lions Festival in Ukraine. The PR-director of the Forum of Creative Industries will share her experience of involving and interacting with information partners, talk about successful creative collaborations.
